Welcome to

Maintaining the Duncan Showroom's existance

over our 16 years of being open as an all ages venue, yes, we have had our hand out to the community to aid us in staying open

it is the nature of the arts to be subsidized somehow, and our tax dollars do have an arts component allotted and we are not included in that allotment as a private business

but this is not your regular theatre

we believe in a venue for new material to be heard, original music to be performed, boundaries  to be pushed and all in a 'hip' fashion

we have been open for 16 years so it…

Mark Stuart

Duncan Showroom, 131 Station Street, Duncan BC

one of america's finest guitar pickin', song writin', storytellin' singers that just happens to be on the west coast and will be performing here at the Showroom, again....yes again, has been a few visits where we missed the opportunity but not this time...

'Nashville-based singer/songwriter Mark Stuart has played with country and roots-rock groups like the Long Gone Daddies and Steve Earle's Dukes. While playing with that group he met his future wife, Stacey Earle. After the couple married in 1994, Stuart also became Stacey's accompanist on her albums and tours. His album Songs From A Corner Stage was released in 1999 on Steve Earle's E-Squared label.'

personally very excited about this concert

the Wardens

Duncan Showroom, 131 Station Street, Duncan BC

"The Wardens don't just sing about the land, they're part of it. With haunting three-part harmonies and chilling tales, The Wardens' mountain music rises from land they've protected as rangers in the Rocky Mountain national parks. Wrangling grizzly bears, rescuing stranded hikers and lonely nights on the packtrail. "
