Will & The Uninc. / Postmodern Addiction
The Uninc.·Thursday, November 8, 2018 The Uninc. is a band from Vancouver, Canada. The only permanent member is William McLelland, who acts a singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, mutli-instrumentalist, lead vocalist, recording and production engineer, and more. McLelland employs various different local musicians from Vancouver Island and Greater Vancouver for recording sessions and live performances, while most material by the UnInc. was completely created by McLelland himself in his home studio, which he refers to as Popham's Record Factory. McLelland has explained the Uninc. as being “not just a band, not just a music project, but a free-flowing musical force; one that plays and writes all matter of different genres, composes scores, anything. The Uninc. is an entity that I have created that knows no bounds as to what kind of music it creates and what purpose it serves commercially or otherwise. It’s about the music. It’s about writing, composing, recording, performing anything that is good.”
