'it's about the music'
Our heart lies in the attentive audience experience and we are revered for creating and maintaining one of the finest intimate showcase venues in the Canadian music scene, not only locally / provincially / nationally but internationally as well for over 18 years. We do believe we have had and will continue to have a positive effect on live entertainment production standards for Canadian venues and we do trust that our endeavours are appreciated by our audiences and performers alike.

for those of you who either can't make it to the event cause of illness or family emergencies or you don't live in our immediate  area

we 'live' stream all of our concerts to youtube and facebook

https://www.youtube.com/c/DuncanShowroom/live

(if you are local and watching from home, sitting in the chair of your choice, wearing the clothes of your choice, drinking the beverage of your choice, possibly even inhaling the fresh air of your choice and all for 'free', why not donate the ticket price or parts thereof so we can continue this 'free' to you service)

one way to support the Showroom experience is to view and possibly buy a photo book of past performers

all profits go to the Showroom

award-winning singer-songwriters share songs from their upcoming new releases, backing each other up with harmonies and guitar…

Jack grew up playing coffee houses, concert halls, and folk festivals on the West Coast of British Columbia. His unique voice, genuine warmth and passion for songs and songwriting earned him fans across the west, from church basements to big city music clubs to small town fairs. Jack’s reputation as a gifted songwriter and dynamic performer has won him invitations to play venues across the country with some of Canada’s best known performers, including David Foster, Tom Cochrane, Colin James, Spirit of the West, 54-40, Johnny Cash's Tennesee Three, Wide Mouth Mason, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, and James Keelaghan. Jack's fourth album "Move Me" will be released late spring 2019.

Genevieve is a Cowichan Valley based singer-songwriter, crafting tales of love, loss and rural living in between raising her three sons, harvesting veggies from the garden and hauling firewood to fuel her earthen home. From rollicking political hootenannies to poignant and perceptive love songs, Genevieve’s folk and roots-based songs tell stories. As a trained actress and dancer and long-time member of the multi-award-winning Balkan Babes, she is an experienced singer and performer, bringing a lively stage presence and charisma to the stage. Genevieve’s song “Down Down Down” won the 2017 BC Musicians Songwriters Contest and was a finalist in the International Acoustic Music Awards. She is releasing her third studio album "Heart is a Tower" in March 2019.

I believe many of you might enjoy this evening…

It’s an electric-acoustic blues duo mixing our contemporary and traditional delta and west African roots.

Contemporary blues roots artists. One guy played with Son House, the other with Ali Farka Toure. Two special stories. Two unique, yet complimentary musicians, together for one special tour. Possibly the most significant and interesting National Steel Blues adventure yet. And the best version of Sugarman you’ve ever heard.
