    Our heart lies in the attentive audience experience and we are revered for creating and maintaining one of the finest intimate showcase venues in the Canadian music scene, not only locally / provincially / nationally but internationally as well for over 18 years. We do believe we have had and will continue to have a positive effect on live entertainment production standards for Canadian venues and we do trust that our endeavours are appreciated by our audiences and performers alike.

50 songs for 50 years - funraiser

Jen Woltemade returns to Canada having missed celebrating her 50th birthday with her musical friends and has decided to host a funraiser for the Duncan Showroom by having her friends perform 50 songs over the course of an afternoon and into the evening to highlight that missed 50th birthday

Beautiful Luck

The Duncan Showroom, 131 Station Street, Duncan BC

They have performed most recently at the Sooke Folk Music Society as a feature and every summer they enjoy playing at farmers markets, cafes, and restaurants in the area.

They have recorded a seven song EP entitled ‘Moonwish’ which features six original songs.

Beautiful Luck's repertoire covers a variety of genres including roots, country, pop, and blues. They pride themselves on choosing an eclectic mix of harmony inspired songs mixed with original compositions. From Blue Rodeo to Dan Hicks, to the Sons of Pioneers, to Kathleen Edwards they play in a variety of tempos and styles; there is something for everyone when Beautiful Luck perform.

They will be accompanied by Josh Miszczak (violin) Brad Hawkes (drums) John Hewson (bass, mandolin)

Rain City

Raincity is a Vancouver-based Rage-Funk group fronted by female leads on saxophone and vocals. Beatroute magazine describes them as “danc[ing] between Paramore’s pop perfection and a late-night RCHP inspired jam session”. The five members of Raincity combine their eclectic influences including Moon Hooch, Amy Winehouse, Queen, and Rage Against the Machine. They have opened for acts such as Our Lady Peace, Bif Naked, and Five Alarm Funk on stages such as the Commodore Ballroom and The Bill Reid Amphitheatre.
