Backtalker is the heaviest act of the night from Nanaimo. They have a hardcore style of music with catchy melodies mixed between heavy rhythmic breakdowns and aggressive lyrics that offer both the beauty of a rose pedal with the harshness of its thorny stem.

Under The Mountain, are longtime Nanaimo scene members with a hard rock sound that showcases their classic rock influences. Their sound has more recently evolved to become a hard rock/heavy metal hybrid band that write catchy songs with vocals that will make everyone bang their heads and pump their fists!
