from Dundee Scotland,an established, well known face on the acoustic, folk and songwriting circuit around the UK and has performed at many of the major venues, folk & blues clubs & festivals there. Highlights of his performing career thus far in the UK & Ireland have included appearances at Celtic Connections, Ronnie Scott's, the Maryport Blues Festival, Fairport Convention's Cropredy Festival, live performances on BBC Radio & BBC at the Edinburgh Festival, as well as annual appearances at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (sell-out shows). For the past six years he has also conducted extensive tours upon mainland Europe, performing headline shows in more than twenty countries, becoming a familiar face on the continental acoustic and Festival circuit, as well as three North American tours, including a live appearance on Global TV in Canada in autumn 2016. currently appearing both as a solo artist, and with a small ensemble, and last year released 'The Last Car' (engineered and produced by Ian McCalman of the McCalmans). The album is receiving regular airplay on BBC Radio across the UK and has been very well received by reviewers, picking up great write-ups in newspapers & magazines across the UK.
